My culinary journey extends beyond professional kitchens and classrooms. I believe that knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is shared, and I actively use my culinary experience to contribute to community initiatives and learning opportunities.
From practical culinary workshops to knowledge-sharing sessions, these experiences allow me to take professional knowledge beyond conventional educational spaces and connect with people through a shared passion for learning.

Practical learning. Real conversations. Meaningful contribution.
Conducted a practical goat butchery and meat fabrication workshop at Badri Mahal, Mumbai, bringing structured culinary knowledge and professional meat-handling techniques into a community learning environment.
The workshop focused on understanding the carcass, identifying different cuts, practical fabrication techniques, portioning, utilisation of the carcass and the professional approach to handling meat.
The objective was not simply to demonstrate a technique, but to encourage participants to understand the skill, precision and knowledge behind the process.
Knowledge Shared: Meat Fabrication • Culinary Skills • Practical Learning
I was invited to participate in Istefada in Surat, an opportunity that allowed me to step outside the traditional classroom and engage with members of the community through knowledge, experience and conversation.
The experience reminded me that education is not always structured around a syllabus or a classroom. Sometimes, meaningful learning comes from sharing experiences, asking questions and creating conversations between generations and professions.
Focus: Experience • Knowledge • Conversation • Community
Throughout my journey as a chef and educator, I have learned that some of the most valuable learning happens when knowledge moves beyond conventional boundaries.
A workshop can create curiosity. A conversation can change perspective. A practical demonstration can turn theory into understanding.
Whether I am standing in front of university students or working with members of my community, my approach remains the same: share what I know, encourage people to learn, and leave something useful behind.
"A classroom is not always four walls."
— Chef Mohammad Husain
Professional knowledge becomes more valuable when it is passed on to others.
Community initiatives create opportunities to meet people, exchange experiences and learn from different perspectives.
Every skill has the potential to become useful when it is placed in service of others.
Have a community learning initiative in mind? I am open to opportunities where my culinary experience and professional knowledge can contribute to meaningful learning and community engagement.
